Alejandro “Mono” González

A multifaceted Chilean artist known for his impactful murals addressing social themes, first visited San Potito in 2015 and has been a cherished presence ever since.

Calling himself a “worker of the arts”, his enduring commitment to social art and political activism has established him as a major figure in Latin American public art, leaving an indelible mark on projects worldwide.

In San Potito Sannitico, he has engaged the whole community in numerous projects, consistently impressing with his boundless energy and dynamism as he scales the scaffolds, embodying the essence of his nickname “Mono” (monkey).
