Information about the project:

ART PRINT RESIDENCY is an open call for artists interested in printmaking as a field of experimentation, expansion, and reinvention.

Through this residency, C:L.A.C. (Cupole: Laboratorio di Arti Contemporanee) opens the doors of its fully equipped Art Print Studio to artists, printmakers, designers, illustrators, and creatives who wish to explore both traditional and experimental print practices within a collaborative,research-oriented environment.

Located in San Potito Sannitico, in the heart of the Sannio region of Southern Italy, the residency welcomes an international community of practitioners working in contemporary graphics, printmaking, and hands-on artistic processes.

The C:L.A.C. Art Print Studio is a shared workspace dedicated to research, production, and exchange, encouraging dialogue between artists, the local territory, and the site’s unique dome-shaped architecture.

C:L.A.C. is a live-work residency: a place to print, experiment, and produce, but also to slow down, observe, and share creative practices within a small village context.

What we offer:

Professional Printmaking Facilities

Screen Printing (Serigraphy):

  • Multifunction exposure unit (bromograph)
  • Vacuum printing table
  • 4-color T-shirt printing station
  • Pressure washer
  • Pre-stretched screens (53 threads, availability may vary)
  • Photosensitive emulsion
  • Eco-friendly inks for paper printing
  • A3 printer for transparent films


Engraving & Relief Printing:

  • Professional press (maximum print size: 50 × 70 cm)
  • Heated plate for etching
  • Engraving and relief inks
  • Rollers and essential inking and printing tools


Note: Paper is not provided and must be brought by the artist.

Accomodation

Selected residents will be accommodated in a private room with bathroom inside a historic building located in the center of San Potito Sannitico, approximately a 10-minute walk from the Art Print Studio.

The house is a lived-in residence for artists and curious minds; when present, the owners also use it as a creative environment.

Accommodation includes access to a shared kitchen and spacious common areas for reflection, experimentation, and informal exchange.

 

An Inspiring Creative Space

Residents work inside C:L.A.C.’s iconic dome-shaped architecture, a clustered-like structure immersed in the Italian countryside. This environment, together with the calm rhythm of the village, actively supports focus, artistic exchange, and experimentation.

Costs:

The total cost of the residency is €430 for two weeks, including:, e include:

  • Full access to the Art Print Studio
  • Accommodation
  • Accomodation

A €140 advance payment via bank transfer to FateLAB is required to confirm participation.The remaining €300 is due during the residency. €300dovrà essere versato durante la residenza.

We keep the fee intentionally low because we believe in open, accessible, and inclusive experimentation in printmaking, striving to make this opportunity available to artists from all over the world.

If you have any specific accommodation needs (such as a private bathroom, additional beds for children or partners) or other requirements related to your stay, please state them clearly in your application. We will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability.

Results will be announced by 28 February 2026..
