Non-Toxic Etching Workshop
Dates:
March 29, 2025, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Photo-Transfer & b.i.g. (Baldwin’s Intaglio Ground).
Together, we will discover step by step how to transfer a series of previously printed images onto pronto-plate, modified with permanent markers, onto zinc plates. We will create an aquatint using acrylic spray and work with the renowned BIG varnish. We will etch with copper sulfate and print using Akua inks.
At every stage, we will strive to use the least toxic materials available on the market, the result of the most sustainable research from the new green movement in printmaking.
