In 2017, a wave of innovation marked the festival with five key events taking center stage:
The artist Acaymo S. Cuesta presented his site-specific artwork “W” during the town’s mural tour.
The premiere of the short film “Super Pasquale”, created by emerging filmmakers during the last edition of FateCinema.
The workshop titled “Poetic Bot – Can a computer compose poetry?”, held at the Pro Loco headquarters, inviting youngsters aged 12 to 18.
Special screenings featured “Popoff” by Domingo de Luis, entirely filmed in San Potito Sannitico and recipient of various international awards, and “Oceano” by Antonino De Lellis, developed during his artistic residency at La Regenta Art Center (Canary Islands).
A conference about art and territory took place, with the participation of Giuseppe Gaeta and Olga Scotto di Vettimo from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, Alejandro Vitaubet, director of La Regenta Art Center in the Canary Islands, and Ricardo Suarez, representative of the Open-Air Museum Los Llanes De Aridane, La Palma.
This year’s activities broke new ground as they unfolded at the exceptional venue of the Polyfunctional Center for Territorial Development, in the Ex Gezoov area, marking a departure from the festival’s previous editions.
